Congratulatory address of Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan on the Motherland Defender's Day
On behalf of the Artsakh Republic's authorities and personally myself I congratulate you cordially on the Motherland Defender's Day - a holiday which has gained new quality since the Artsakh's independence becoming more beloved and cherished to our people.
This day we pay homage and glorify our sisters and brothers who sacrificed their lives for sacred mission of defending the Motherland and whose names are written in golden letters in our new history, veterans of the Great Patriotic and Artsakh Liberation wars, whose audacity and courage are among the best examples of patriotism for generations to come, all of our armed forces' generals, officers and soldiers who honorably and faithfully defend the borders of the Fatherland and peaceful life of the native people.
Each citizen of Artsakh who stands firmly on his own soil and maintains bright the ancestral hearth fire and the freedom-loving soul of his hero ancestors can be called a Motherland's defender. This is why it is the holiday for all of us.
On this memorable holiday I congratulate once again all our people and wish them peace, robust health and all the best.
