On 12 December President of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan received Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Mesrop Arakelyan.
The process of changes to be made in social priorities during the post-war period in both Armenian states was on the discussion agenda.
The Head of the State underscored the significance of the social assistance programs envisaged by the RA government, largely aimed at alleviating the vital issues of the people of Artsakh living in the territory of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia.
Arayik Harutyunyan highlighted also the need to form such a socio-economic environment, which will be aimed at providing opportunities for citizens to generate income.
Minister Mesrop Arakelyan assured the President of the Republic that supporting the Armenians of Artsakh in the current situation is among the priorities of the structure led by him. Within this framework, the RA Government has initiated and is implementing a number of measures. New programs are also planned to be realized.
