On October 30, Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan partook in a solemn event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the State Service of Emergency Situations, as well as the Professional Day of the Rescue Worker.
The Head of the State laid flowers at the khachkar-monument erected on the territory of the complex dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Artsakh Liberation War.
In his speech, President Harutyunyan noted that over the years the personnel of the Rescue Service have selflessly fulfilled the tasks set before them, which is worthy of praise. According to Arayik Harutyunyan, the authorities will continue to make all efforts aimed at expansion and modernization of service capabilities, as well as solving socio-economic needs of employees.
On the occasion of the day, the President of the Republic awarded titles and medals to a number of servicemen of the State Service of Emergency Situations.
