President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan visited the newly opened cement production factory of "Savva" CJSC operating in the Askeran region and got acquainted with the works carried out on the spot.
As a result of the post-war investment program worth about $ 2 million, according to company responsibles, 60-65 thousand tons of high-quality cement will be produced annually, as well as bricks, concrete and aerated concrete, which are in great demand in the local market. The factory is equipped with modern production lines and the works will start in full in November of the current year, providing about 100 jobs with an average salary of 250 thousand AMD.
The President of the Republic welcomed the initiative of the company, emphasizing that in case of full implementation the outlined programs can play a decisive role in the development of the domestic economy.
