On April 5 President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan accompanied by Vitaly Balasanyan, secretary of security council, and a group of officials visited Nakhichevanik community in the Askeran region and took part in the start of planting a new garden which was initiated by a Diaspora Armenian businessman from Hadrut.
''The way to return to Hadrut and other occupied regions, and to achieve the goals of ensuring sustainable security of the Homeland begins with the development of Artsakh. One of its important components is the reorganization of the economy'', the President noted participating in the ceremony of planting the first saplings of the new garden.
The President also visited Sarnaghbyur, Vardadzor and Dahraz villages of Askeran region. Issues on the strengthening of the line of contact, the safe life of the population, housing and the prospects for the development of the sub-region were discussed during the visit.
