On March 17 President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan visited Dahrav, Astghashen and Patara communities of the Askeran region, got acquainted with the construction works on site, and met with the local residents.
Within the framework of the program of reconstruction and furnishing of the vacant housing stock to solve the housing problems of those who have lost their homes due to the recent war, 14 out of 28 private houses in Dahrav, and 34 out of 50 in Patara are ready and settled. Arayik Harutyunyan inspected personally the quality of the work, talked to the resettled, inquired about their concerns.
In Patara the head of state said that the road connecting the village with the highway will be asphalted this year and the issue of night lighting will be solved in the community. The minister of urban planning was instructed to draw a plan for the reconstruction of the kindergarden in the village.
During the visit the President of the Republic visited also the building ground of a new residence being built in Astghashen community for the displaced residents of the villages of the upper subregion of the Askeran region with state and charitable means, got acquainted with the work.
