On July 6 President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan convened an extended working meeting dedicated to the implementation of state financial support measures for individuals and legal entities who suffered material damage as a result of the hostilities unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh on September 27, 2020.
Taking into account the situation on the ground, the President noted that needs assessment is a complex and extensive process, the public administration and local self-government bodies of the Republic of Artsakh should make efforts in order to implement the program on the basis of the principles of equality, justice and commonality. Arayik Harutyunyan instructed to reconsider the logic of the sums given for damages, significantly increasing their size. The President also instructed to process quickly the existing applications and start the funding process.
A number of other issues on the program with the aim of expanding the scope of the program and improving the conditions, were discussed during the meeting.
