On 19 November President of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan convened an extended working consultation on the social assistance programs to be provided to the population in the current situation and issues of restoration of the infrastructure.
Reports on the activities in progress were delivered by Minister of State Grigory Martirosyan, responsible officials of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Housing and Ministry of Economy and Industrial Infrastructure.
The Head of the State highlighted that restoration works of the infrastructure should be finished both in the capital and the regions in the shortest time possible. According to the President, no effort should be spared to regularly organize the return of the citizens and provide them with the necessary property.
Touching upon the housing problems of the homeless citizens, Arayik Harutyunyan noted that in the first stage the problems of their stay in the territory of Armenia should be solved by cooperating with the state authorized bodies of the Republic of Armenia.
Other issues related to the current situation were also discussed during the meeting.
