Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan visited the Kashen ore mining deposit of the «Base Metals» company.
The owners of the company introduced to the President their recent achievements and initiatives.
By the end of the year the company will found new plants and launch production of molibdenum concentrate, steel grinding balls (they will be completely splitted during the mineral recycling process), an important agricultural chemical copper sulfate, as well as metallic copper in the form of metal dust which will be produced by hydrometallurgical processing using wastes stored in tailings facilities in the past.
President Harutyunyan expressed satisfaction with realization of the set ambitious programs highlighting that the company continues to play an essential role in the industrial development of Artsakh.
Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Zhirayr Mirzoyan accompanied the President.
