On 24 June Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan partook at the solemn ceremony of opening the bust immortalizing the memory of freedom fighter, holder of the Second degree Battle Cross order Sergey Amiyan, held in the town of Shoushi.
The Head of the State paid homage to the memory of the hero who had passed a glorious combat path in the ranks of the detachment of Shoushi defense region's commander Vachagan Ishkanyan and perished during the combat actions. The President, together with Sergey Amiyan's family members and high-ranking officials, laid flowers to the pedestal of the hero's bust.
