On 12 February in connection with the 85th anniversary of the Azat Artsakh newspaper NKR President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree decorating a group of contributors with government awards.
    In accordance with the presidential decree Nicolay Baghdasaryan, deputy editor-in-chief of the Azat Artsakh newspaper, and Artashes Gasparyan, chef copy reader of the newspaper, were awarded Vachagan Barepasht medal.
The Gratitude medal was awarded to Mnatsakan Azizyan, executive secretary of the newspaper, and Rouslan Sargsyan, Azat Artsakh's photographer.
   On the same day the President signed an order of handing valuable gift to a group of the newspaper's contributors.
    TV sets were provided to Laura Griroryan, head of the information desk, Svetlana Alexanyan, a corrector, Nvard Soghomonyan, head of the education and culture desk, honoured journalist of the NKR.
Video tapes were handed to operators Nina Gasparyan, Anoush Matevosyan and Maria Simonyan, correctors Nora Grigoryan and Oktyabrina Simonyan.
    Mobile phones were given to operator Lyudmila Arakelyan, Evika Babayan, deputy editor-in chief, and Svetlana Khachtryan, head of the desk of correspondence and social issues.
