NKR President Bako Sahakyan decorated Yuri Vardanyan with the Mesrop Mashtots order
On 15 October famous weightlifter an event dedicated to Olympic and repeated world and Europe champion Yuri Vardanyan took place at the Officer's Palace in capital Stepanakert. During the event NKR President Bako Sahakyan decorated Yuri Vardanyan with the Mesrop Mashtots order for significant contribution to the development of physical culture and sport. Greeting the great sportsman the President noted Mr.Vardanyan always represented the Armenian nation on the international arena in a worthy manner. His numerous victories inspired and served as example for the Armenian youth. Bako Sahakyan underlined that Yuri Vardanyan keeps contributing to the further development and promotion of Armenian sports.
