On 1 October NKR President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on awarding.
     According to the decree for substantial contribution to the preparation and publication of the Atlas of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic the "Mesrop Mastots" order was awarded to Manouk Vardanyan, PhD in technical sciences, president of the editorial board of the NKR Atlas, editor-in-chief of the atlas, advisor to the President of the Republic of Armenia.
     The "Gratitude" medal was awarded to the following individuals:

Valeri Alexanyan, PhD in agriculture, member of the editorial board of the NKR Atlas, director of Stepanakert branch of the Armenian State Agricultural University;

Yuri Arakelyan, PhD in geography, member of the editorial board of the NKR Atlas, head of the geographical department of Artsakh State University, associate professor;

Gegham Badalyan, member of the editorial board of the NKR Atlas, assistant lecturer of the department of Armenian History, Yerevan State University;

Vahram Balayan, PhD in history, member of the editorial board of the NKR Atlas, pro-rector of Artsakh State University, associate professor;

Aida Nazaryan, member of the editorial board of the NKR Atlas, head of the thematic cartography desk of the Center of Geodesy and Cartography SNCO, Republic of Armenia;

Hovsep Petrosyan, member of the editorial board of the NKR Atlas, executive director of the Center of Geodesy and Cartography SNCO, Republic of Armenia;

Hamlet Sargsyan, PhD in history, member of the editorial board of the NKR Atlas, senior researcher at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, Armenian National Academy of Sciences;

Slava Sargsyan, member of the editorial board of the NKR Atlas, head of the division of preservation and studying of monument of the tourism department under the NKR Cabinet of Ministers;

Vilen Safaryan, PhD in geography, member of the editorial board of the NKR Atlas, executive director of center of geodesy, cartography, land management and real estate assessment non-profit organization;

Lemvel Valesyan, PhD in geography, member of the editorial board of the NKR Atlas, honorary head of the department of economic and social Geography of the Yerevan State University, professor.
