President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on the 2008 autumn draft and demobilization
On 4 October President of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on the 2008 autumn draft and demobilization. According to the decree within the period of November-December of the current year male citizens of the NKR who will be 18 years old before the period of the draft as well as those citizens whose deferment of mandatory military service has been expired. In compliance with the decree within the period of November-December 2008 servicemen who have completed their mandatory military service will be demobilized from the army. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic has been ordered to adopt a corresponding resolution to carry out the decree within the fortnight period.
