On 27 June the NKR President Bako Sahakyan met with the President of American University of Armenia (AUA) Harutyun Armenian and program leader of the AUA's Turpanjian rural development program Armen Sardaryan. The guests introduced the President the results of the program carried out in Artsakh. The President rated high the role the program plays in the development of rural communities of the republic, especially its educational, scientific and psychological significance. He also mentioned that the AUA should enlarge its activities and representation in Artsakh would have a positive impact both on educational sphere of the republic and on further strengthening ties with the Diaspora.
