On 5 July President Bako Sahakyan met delegation of the Union of Banks of Armenia at the head of the president of Armenian Central Bank Artur Javadyan. Artur Javadyan presented the President results of the meeting of the Union held in the town of Shoushi. Issues related to the development of banking sphere in the NKR, prospects of cooperation between banks in Armenia and Karabagh were discussed during the meeting. An arrangement was reached to enlarge Armenian banking services in the NKR, to provide credits to small and medium size businesses, and to organize training programs. President Sahakyan appreciated the initiative of the Union of Banks of Armenia to study economic field in Artsakh and carry out new projects in the republic. He expressed readiness to assist deepening the cooperation between NKR and Armenian banks. Head of the Office of the NKR President Marat Mousaelyan and president of Artsakh Bank Kamo Nersisyan were present at the meeting.
