On 9 December President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received member of the Armenia's Union of Writers Artem Haroutyunyan, writers from Diaspora Peters Souryan and Aram Arkun. Issues related to cooperation between Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora in the field of literature were discussed during the meeting. The Head of the State underlined that the field of literature is among the pivotal spheres of pan-Armenian integration processes that to a great extent contribute to the patriotic upbringing of the younger generation and preservation of the Armenian national identity. Bako Sahakyan noted that it is important unite the efforts of the state and the public sector for the development of a common pan-Armenian literary space. Artsakh Republic minister of education and science Vladik Khachatryan and head of the Artsakh Union of Writers Vardan Hakobyan partook at the meeting.
