On 19 August President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan chaired the meeting of the Security Council. Issues related to agriculture and education were on the agenda of the meeting. Premier Ara Haroutyunyan and deputy minister of education and science Slava Asryan delivered corresponding reports. Touching upon the activities related to the 2011 sowing of winter cereals the Head of the State requested the Cabinet of Ministers carry our them in time and properly, pay special attention to the allocation of credits and other means and inform periodically about the course of activities being carried out. Bako Sahakyan also assigned to study thoroughly the situation created as a result of natural disasters and present elaborated proposals on prolonging terms of credits, land taxes and payments as well as credits and other obligations for using irrigation water on the part of land users. Talking about issues the sphere of education faces President Sahakyan touched also the question of providing school uniforms to pupils from first to fourth grades in capital Stepanakert. The ministry of education and science was assigned to stop the process of providing school uniforms taking into consideration the necessity of thorough examination of the issue.
