On 16 April NKR President Bako Sahakyan met a delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia composed of heads and some members of the parliament's standing commissions on social affairs, health protection, science, education, culture, youth affairs and sports.
       Issues related to cooperation between the two Armenian states in the spheres of social protection, culture and health care were discussed during the meeting. Special attention was paid to the amelioration of demographic situation.
       Bako Sahakyan noted that the realization of the resettlement program in Artsakh is of nation-wide importance, which will give a qualitatively new impetus to the Pan-Armenian integration.
      The Head of the State underlined that such meetings should be held on more periodic basis. In connection with this the President considered importance to hold them in different regions of Artsakh, starting from the Shahoumyan region of NKR.
      Chairman of the NKR National Assembly and other officials partook at the meeting.
