On 21 February President of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited southern sections of the Kashatagh and Hadrout regions of the republic and got acquainted with the situation there on site.
The Head of the State gave appropriate instructions to the government and heads of the regional administrations to solve issues raised by the people at earliest possible date.
    The President underlined that the authorities of the state are committed to boost socioeconomic development in this region. Bako Sahakyan noted that the main focus is put on the development of infrastructure, TV and radio communication and agriculture.
     At the same time the President noted that some representatives of society have not yet got rid of the re-settler's psychology, which hinders the development of this region. According to the Head of the State to live on and develop this soil as its masters is a solid guarantee of socioeconomic progress.
NKR premier Ara Haroutyunyan, representatives of legislative and executive branches and heads of the corresponding regions accompanied the President during the visit.
