On 22 May President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received Frantisek Mikloshko, member and former speaker of the Slovakian parliament, and Ashot Grigoryan, head of the Armenian community of Slovakia who arrived in Artsakh as observers to the coming parliamentary elections.
The Head of the State rated high impartial stance of Slovakia towards this crucial for Artsakh event. According to the President the presence of such an experienced political figure in the course of elections is the best manifestation of this.
Frantisek Mikloshko in his turn stated that he considered important democratic development of our country noting that the future of Europe is determined in Artsakh.
Issues related to regional processes and the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict settlement were also discussed during the meeting.
