On 3 October in connection with the Teachers' Day President of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic Bako Sahakyan signed several decrees on awarding.
       According to the Presidential decree, for substantial contribution to in educating and bringing up the younger generation the "Vachagan Barepasht" medal was awarded to the following individuals:

Karine Atajanyan,                    teacher in the school N3 in capital Stepanakert;
Benik Avagumyan,                   retired teacher, the village of Sos, Martouni region of the NKR.

The "Gratitude" medal was awarded to

Azniv Aghabekyan,                  retired teacher, village of Banadzor, Hadrout region of the NKR;
Rudik Arakelyan,                      lecturer of the Artsakh State University;
Napoleon Arustamyan,          retired teacher, the village of Eghtsahogh, Shoushi region of the NKR;
Zhora Grigoryan,                      retired teacher, capital Stepanakert;
Lousig Sahakyan,                     public school teacher of the Tigranavan village, Kashatagh region of the NKR;
Mejnun Sahakyan,                   secondary school teacher in the village of Haterk, Martakert region of the NKR;
Sergey Sargsyan,                    retired teacher, the village of Kaghartsi, Martouni region of the NKR;
Melik Vardanyan ,                   retired teacher, the village of Jrakous, Hadrout region of the NKR;

According to another Presidential decree for attaining outstanding success in educating and bringing up the younger generation the "Honoured Pedagogue of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic" honorary title was conferred on the following individuals:

Naira Arstamyan,                     director of secondary school in the village of Verin Horatagh, Martakert region of the NKR;
Slavik Asryan,                           NKR deputy minister of education and science;
Armen Avanesyan,                  retired teacher, the village of Dahrav, Askeran region of the NKR;
Emma Avetisyan,                     teacher of the Mets Shen village primary school, Shoushi region of the NKR;
Zhanna Balayan,                      deputy director of Stepanakert primary school N1;
Galya Grigoryan,                      teacher of Stepanakert primary school N10;
Hranush Haroutunyan,           teacher of Martakert secondary school N1;
Artem Mousayelyan,               retired teacher, the village of Sos, Martouni region of the NKR;

The"Honoured Culture Worker of the Nagorno Karabagh Republi" honorary title was conferred on the following individuals:
