On 25 November Artsakh Republic Presidеnt Bako Sahakyan visited in Los Angeles Union of Iranian Armenians and met representatives of the organization.
Issues related to socioeconomic situation in the NKR, foreign policy of the republic and the Artsakh-Diaspora ties were discussed during the meeting.
President Sahakyan rated high the role of the Union of Iranian Armenians in preserving Armenian national identity in the Diaspora, strengthening its ties with the Motherland.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, head of the central information department of the office of the Artsakh Republic President David Babayan, NKR permanent representative to USA and Canada Robert Avetisyan partook at the meeting.
