On 30 November President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the Chaco province located in northern part of the Argentinean Republic and got acquainted with the work of agro-industrial complexes.
Special attention was paid to the experience of the province in developing intensive agriculture, pedigree cattle, application of modern irrigation methods and processing of agricultural products.
Agreements to cooperate in the above mentioned fields were reached during the visit. President Sahakyan called them important underlining that they will give a new impetus to the development of the NKR's agriculture.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, head of the central information department of the office of the Artsakh Republic President David Babayan, Argentinean Armenian entrepreneurs and philanthropists accompanied the President during the visit.
