On 8 August in connection with successful completion of "Armenia" sailing vessel's round-the-world voyage, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan sent a congratulatory telegram to the crew. The telegram runs as following:
        "I congratulate you on the successful completion of the first circumnavigation in the history of our nation.
        The whole Artsakh was thoroughly watching the navigation of the "Armenia" sailing vessel that went through hard and often dangerous routes. Armenian people were deeply impressed by the fact that bending around the hazardous Cape Horn, you erected the Armenian Cross there in memory of all innocent victims of the planet.
Having been to different parts of the Diaspora, you passed on our compatriots a powerful charge of patriotism, the importance of which can scarcely be overestimated.
        I congratulate once again the crew of "Armenia" on successful realization of its mission. This new victory of will and spirit has already taken its worthy place in the history of our people.
        We are looking forward to see you on Artsakh soil!"
