President Sahakyan partook at the festive event dedicated to the Teacher’s Day
On 5 October Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan partook at the festive event dedicated to the Teacher's Day held at the Stepanakert Culture and Youth palace. Bako Sahakyan handed in certificates of honored titles and state awards to a group of education and science spheres' representatives. Congratulating the attendees on the professional holiday, the Head of the State noted in his speech that Armenian teachers' selfless and painstaking work has been among the sources of our national stamina. Bako Sahakyan mentioned the imperative of having patriotic and educated in correspondence with modern standards society as the ultimate priority for the development of the educational sphere. According to the Head of State we have inexhaustible potential which must be maintained and applied skillfully. President Bako Sahakyan underlined that the field of education and the key issues existing in the field had always been and would remain at the centre of state attention, expressing his confidence that with joint efforts we would succeed in implementing all the outlined projects. Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirossyan and other officials were present at the meeting.
