On 6 October President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan convoked a consultation dedicated to the issues the spheres of agriculture and environmental protection face.
Minister of agriculture Armo Tsatouryan, director of the countryside and agriculture assistance fund Vahram Baghdasaryan, head of the department of environment and natural resources under the Cabinet of Ministers Gary Grigoryan, head of the rescue service Arthur Haroutyunyan and general prosecutor Arshavir Gharamyan delivered corresponding reports.
The Head of the State underlined that for securing continuous development of the agricultural sphere it was necessary make more efficient the work different departments of the ministry of agriculture carry out for solving issues the sphere faces as well as deepen cooperation between different structures.
Bako Sahakyan noted that while developing agriculture and practically all other branches of economy the issues of environmental protection especially during fighting fires and other natural disasters should be taken into consideration. Within this context President Sahakyan noted the necessity of giving new quality to the activities of the department of environment and natural resources.
Bako Sahakyan gave concrete instructions to the heads of concerned structures noting that the problems of the sphere and carried out activities should be widely covered by the mass media.
Premier of the Artsakh Republic Ara Haroutyunyan and other officials partook at the consultation.
