On 16 March President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk group Robert Bradtke (USA), Igor Popov (Russian Federation) and Bernard Fassier (France) who have arrived in Stepanakert on the same day.
Issues related to the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict settlement were discussed during the meeting.
It was mutually noted that military solution to the conflict is absolutely unacceptable and pregnant with unpredictable consequences. The President welcomed the willingness of the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs to elaborate mechanisms of revealing the cases of the ceasefire regime violation underlining that if applied they could have a serious role in maintaining peace and stability.
The President once again drew the negotiators' attention to destructive stance of Baku and called to use all means possible for changing it. According to Bako Sahakyan if it does not take place it will be impossible to expect any positive change in the conflict settlement process.
Artsakh Republic foreign minister Georgy Petrosyan, personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office Andrzej Kasprzyk and other officials were present at the meeting.
