On 4 February Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan partook at the reporting meeting of the Police board summarizing the results of the 2012 operative activities.
Head of the Police Robert Shaferyan and responsible representatives of the structure delivered corresponding reports.
According to the Head of the State during the reporting period the Police overall conducted its functions effectively, recording positive developments.
At the same time, as the President noted, there was still much to be done for the continuous improvement of the Police work effectiveness.
President Sahakyan underlined that the current potential of the system and the recorded positive results would leave a ground to expect that the police can implement its activities successfully, adding that the country's authorities would undertake necessary measures in order to improve social and working conditions of the structure's staff.
