On 16 February Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan partook at the reporting meeting of the Office of Public Prosecutor's board summarizing the results of the structure's activities in 2012.
NKR Attorney general Arshavir Gharamyan and responsible representatives of the office delivered corresponding reports.
The Head of the State rated satisfactory the work carried out during the reporting period emphasizing that due to the activities realized by the Office of Public Prosecutor and other power structures we succeeded in fighting crime and other negative phenomena, maintaining public order in the republic at a proper level, as a result of which crime rate in Artsakh are much lower than the world average.
At the same time President Sahakyan noted that still much is to be done for maintaining and improving the positive dynamics registered in structure's activities, adding that the office possessed all opportunities to consistently raise the efficiency of its work.
Bako Sahakyan underlined that the country's authorities would continue taking necessary measures to improve social and working conditions of the structure's staff.
