On 1 September Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan partook at the staging of Andrey Babaev's "Artsvaberd" opera held at the historical building of the Shoushi Intermediate Secondary School.
President Sahakyan noted the significance of holding such events in the town of Shoushi considering it valuable both for the development of classical music in Artsakh and preservation of historical-cultural monuments.
Armenia's prime-minister Tigran Sargsyan, primate of Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, NKR National Assembly speaker Ashot Ghоulyan, premier Ara Haroutunyan, RA and NKR officials, representatives of the Diaspora and guests from abroad partook in the event.
