On 31 August Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan met personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk.
Issues related to the current stage of the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict settlement negotiations as well as situation along the border between Artsakh and Azerbaijan were discussed during the meeting.
President Sahakyan qualified as political provocation and speculation the show staged by Azerbaijan around NKR Defense Army serviceman Hakob Injighulyan, who fell into Azerbaijani captivity, underscoring that it violates norms and principles of morality and international law. The Head of the State underlined that such policy jeopardizes the conflict's peaceful settlement and within this context noted the importance of a corresponding reaction by the international community.
