On 11 October Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan partook in Lyon in a solemn ceremony dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the "Hayastan" All-Armenian Fund French branch.
In his speech President Sahakyan noted that this organization was one of the most important institutions of the Armenian Community in France, which since the first day of its foundation actively participated in the process of supporting the Motherland, strengthening and developing Artsakh.
For the service rendered to the Nagorno Karabagh Republic and in connection with the 20th anniversary of patriotic activity the Head of the State awarded the "Hayastan" all-Armenian Fund French branch with "The Gratitude" medal.
Primate of the French Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Norvan Zakaryan, NKR vice-premier Arthur Aghabekyan, NKR foreign minister Karen Mirzoyan, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to France Vigen Chitechyan, consul general of Armenia in Marseilles Vardan Sermakes, NKR permanent representative to France Hovhannes Gevorgyan, member of the National Assembly of France and chairman of the France-Artsakh Friendship Circle François Rochebloine, other officials partook in the event.
