On 20 April within the republican tree planting and cleaning activities day Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan partook in tree planting activities held in the vicinities of capital Stepanakert and the Shoshkavank monastery in the Askeran region. President Sahakyan emphasized the necessity of holding such activities, highlighting in particular the beautification of the territories adjacent to historical-architectural monuments, considering it important from the viewpoint of their maintenance and patriotic upbringing of the younger generation.
