
On November 10 President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan convened a consultation on security issues with the participation of parliamentary heads of factions, secretary of security council and heads of law enforcement agencies.
The head of state noted that despite the cessation of hostilities against Artsakh in 2020 extensive work has been done to ensure the safety of the population, but especially over the past month the provocations provoked by the Azerbaijani side, the victims and the wounded force to use new methods of defense.
President Harutyunyan stressed that steps are planned in cooperation with the
Russian peacekeeping troops. Representatives of political forces made proposals on the situation. Arthur Tovmasyan, president of the National Assembly and Karen Shahramanyan, chief of the office of the President partook at the meeting.
