On 12 October Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on decorating with state awards.
According to the decree in connection with the 22nd anniversary of liberating the Gharadaghlou settlement in the Martouni region and for personal bravery shown in the course of the combat actions defending the Fatherland a group of "Arabo" detachment freedom-fighters were awarded with the NKR state awards:
Eduard Melqoumyan was posthumously awarded with the "For Courage" medal.
Serob Arshakyan, Arthour Grigoryan (posthumously), Sergey Grigoryan (posthumously), Mher Eghoyan, Souren Yepremyan, Martin Khanyan, Karo Karapetyan, Sasounik Hovhannisyan, Ara Mkhitaryan, Aramayis Nigaryan, Arkadi Sardaryan and Arayik Soghomonyan were awarded the "For Service in Battle" medal.
