Visit to the south-east borderline of the republic
On 2 June President Bako Sahakyan visited the south-east borderline of the republic and inspected on site the current state of the defensive system. The Head of the State handed in "For Courage" and "For Service in Battle" medals to a group of army servicemen for averting and rebuffing encroachment of the enemy towards military positions of the NKR Defense Army. In his speech Bako Sahakyan underlined that everything would be done for further strengthening and securing the state's borders. The President was accompanied by National Assembly speaker Ashot Ghoulyan, vice prime-minister Arthur Aghabekyan, defense minister Movses Hakobyan and other officials.
