On 4 January Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited the Askeran region.
The Head of the State met in inhabitants of the Sardarashen village and discussed the current issues the community faces and projects to be implemented there.
Special attention was paid to the amelioration of water supply system, modernization of infrastructures and tourism development.
President Sahakyan noted that everything possible would be done for solving the existing problems, simultaneously highlighting the necessity of activating grassroots initiatives.
National Assembly speaker Ashot Ghoulyan, vice-premier Arthur Aghabekyan and other officials accompanied the President during the visit.
