On 13 September President Bako Sahakyan received the newly appointed US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk group James Warlick. The Head of the State congratulated co-chair Warlick on assuming a new post and wished him fruitful work. Issues related to the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict were discussed during the meeting. The necessity of peaceful settlement of the conflict within the framework of the Minsk group was mutually noted. President Sahakyan noted that the biggest hindrance to the conflict's settlement is the destructive policy of official Baku, adding that it is becoming a much bigger threat to peace and stability in the region and within this context called on the co-chair to pay a special attention to this issue. Artsakh Republic minister of foreign affairs Karen Mirzoyan and other officials partook in the meeting.
