On 15 May Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan met in the town of Shoushi members of the NKR Union of Writers led by the head of the organization Vardan Hakobyan. A range of issues related to the development of literature and cultural life in Artsakh were discussed during the meeting. The Head of the State rated high the role of writers in the development of the country, preservation of national values and further strengthening the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity as well as patriotic upbringing of the younger generation, adding that problems of the Union of Writers would continue to be in the spotlight of the state.
