In connection with the 21st anniversary of Berdzor's liberation President Bako Sahakyan handed in NKR state awards and valuable gifts to a group of people.
Yuri Khachatryan was awarded with "For Service in Battle" medal for courage shown in defending state borders. Valuable gifts were handed in to freedom fighters Albert Badalyan and Mickael Tounyan.
For successes in the spheres of agriculture, energy and health care development the "Vachagan Barepasht" medal was awarded to Armida Aroushanyan, head of Kashatagh branch of the NKR ministry of health's center of hygiene and epidemiology; the "Gratitude" medal was awarded to Armen Elbakyan, director of the Kashatagh veterinary service station of the NKR ministry of agriculture, Arlvard Ghazaryan, chief accountant of the Kashatagh regional administration and Vilen Simonyan, director of "Artsakhenergo" closed joint stock company's Kashatagh branch.
