Artsakh Republic President convoked meeting of the NKR Security Council.
On 26 August Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan convoked a meeting of the NKR Security Council. Issues related to the combat readiness of the Defense Army, organization of combat duty in the armed forces and preparations of celebrations dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic's proclamation were discussed during the meeting. In his speech President Sahakyan noted that keeping high the level of the armed forces' combat readiness has been the pivotal task set upon the Defense Army and state giving corresponding instructions to the government and the defense ministry on proper implementation of the planned activities. Touching upon the second point of the agenda the President instructed the governmental committee organizing and coordinating the celebrations dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic's proclamation to undertake all the necessary measures for ensuring appropriate implementation of the events prescribed by the action plan.
