On 17 July Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received official delegation of the Australian New South Wales state.
A wide range of issues related to the development of relations between New South Wales and Artsakh were discussed during the meeting.
President Sahakyan expressed gratitude to the authorities and people of the New South Wales state for supporting Artsakh and de-facto recognizing the independence of our country, adding that it was a significant political and moral step on the path of international recognition of Artsakh and establishment of bilateral relations.
Both sides mentioned the existence of all the necessary conditions for cooperation and resoluteness to work in this direction.
Deputy speaker of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly Arthur Tovmasyan, NKR permanent representative in Australia Varouzhan Iskandaryan, Australia Armenian Cause Office members and other officials partook in the meeting.
