On 5 February Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received a group of students and lecturers from the Yerevan State University.
President Sahakyan underlined that positive dynamics of cooperation between the Yerevan and Artsakh state universities was evident both in scientific-educational sphere and in the process of strengthening relations and interactions between the students and all of that had a tangible impact on the development of Artsakh's educational system.
A range of issues related to state-building process in Artsakh, foreign policy, the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict settlement and geopolitical developments were also touched upon.
The Head of the State signified the place and role of the Armenia's Alma Mater in preparing qualified cadres, developing the national scientific-educational potential and preserving traditions, considering demanded their periodic visits to Artsakh.
NKR minister of education and science Slava Asryan, minister of culture and youth affairs Narine Aghabalyan and other officials partook in the meeting.
