On 26 August Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited construction site of the "We and our Mountains" monument - one of the main symbols of Artsakh and got acquainted with the course of renovation activities conducted there.
The President stressed the necessity of preserving the objects of national significance, noting that the well-maintained and comfortable area would serve as an attracting entertainment place for our citizens, guests and tourists arriving in Stepanakert.
President Sahakyan gave appropriate instructions for proper implementation of the final stage of renovation activities, maintaining the deadlines and securing high quality of the works.
National Assembly speaker Ashot Ghoulyan, minister of municipal engineering Karen Shahramanyan, mayor of Stepanakert Souren Grigoryan and other officials accompanied the President during the visit.
