On 15 March President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on awarding with the "Gratitude" medal. According to the decree in connection with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Stepanakert senior school N8 after Andrei Sakharov and for substantial contribution in educating and upbringing the younger generation the medal was awarded to the following pedagogues: Lyudmila Baghdasaryan - teacher of the Armenian language and literature; Esmiralda Gasparyan - teacher of the Armenian language and literature; Lyova Gevorgyan - director of the school; Irina Mamounts - teacher of the Armenian language and literature.
