On 23 December Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan partook at a solemn event dedicated to the 95th birthday anniversary of the Hero of Artsakh Christophor Ivanyan.
President Sahakyan highlighted commemoration of the nation's devotees noting that General Christophor Ivanyan was among the most prominent Armenian military leaders, who had a great role in gaining victory in the Artsakh Liberation War, the establishment and formation of the NKR Defense Army.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Paregv Martirossyan, NKR National Assembly Chairman Ashot Ghoulyan and other officials were present at the meeting.
