On 8 January Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan partook at the Holy Mother of God Church in the Askeran town at a solemn event celebrating 100th birthday of the town's resident Zmroukht Gevorgyan.
The President highlighted such events, adding that comprehensive healthcare, social and economic projects targeted at raising the people's living standards and life span indicators would be of a continuous nature.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, some high-ranking officials attended the event.
