On 28 September President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan sent a condolence letter to NKR deputy defense minister, chairman of the "Artsakh Union of Freedom fighters" non-governmental organization Samvel Karapetyan.
The letter runs as follows:
"I have learnt with deep sorrow about the death of your beloved father Jamil Karapetyan.
He was distinguished by his modesty and diligence, eagerness to be useful to his relatives and friends, great patriotism and dedication to his nation and family.
On behalf of Artsakh authorities and myself in the hour of irretrievable loss I express my condolences and support to You, all the relatives and friends of the deceased, wishing endurance and tenacity".
