On 12 October Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received member of the European Parliament, head of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group Eleni Theocharous.
A number of issues related to the Europe-Artsakh cooperation, regional processes and the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict settlement were touched upon during the meeting.
President Sahakyan called developing relations with Europe among the most significant directions of Artsakh's foreign policy agenda and adding that official Stepanakert was interested in further deepening cooperation on a continuous basis.
NKR foreign minister Karen Mirzoyan, chairman of the RA National Assembly's permanent commission on foreign relations Artak Zakaryan head of the Armenia-European Federation for Justice and Democracy Kaspar Karapetyan and other officials partook in the meeting.
